Sweep Frequency Response Analyzer FRA100 fulfills requirements in Cigre Brochure 342,2008 mechanical condition assessment of transformer windings using FRA and Chinese standard DL/T 911-2016, FRA on winding deformation of power transformers, as well as international standard IEC60076-18:2012.

The maximum sweep points of FRA100 can be up to 50,000, and the frequency accuracy is less than 0.001%.

Power transformers are some of the most vital components in modern transmission and distribution infrastructure. Transformer failures cost enormous amounts of money in unexpected outages and unscheduled maintenance. It is important to avoid these failures and make testing and diagnostics reliable and efficient.

Sweep Frequency Response Analyzer was developed for testing the integrity of power transformers after transportation or occurrence of high currents.

Sweep Frequency Response Analyzer FRA100 uses the SFRA(Sweep Frequency Response Analysis) method and measures the electrical transfer function in a wide frequency range. It detects winding defects and faults in the magnetic core-thereby helping to improve transformer reliability, reduce maintenance costs and prevent costly failures.

The main features of Sweep Frequency Response Analyzer FRA100 are as follows:

●Use SFRA(Sweep Frequency Response Analysis) to test winding deformation by measuring each winding’s amplitude-frequency response characteristics of power transformers(6kV and above voltage grade) without hang cover or disassembly.

●Quick measuring: the measurement time of single winding is less than 2 minutes.

●High frequency accuracy: ≤0.001%  

●Maximum sweep points up to 50,000

●Digital frequency synthesis to ensure higher frequency stability

●5000V voltage isolation to protect laptop fully

●Able to load 9 curves at the same time and automatically calculate parameters of each curve to diagnose winding deformations and provide the reference conclusion.

●Analysis software has powerful function which can fulfills requirements of Chinese standard DL/T 911-2016 and international standard IEC60076-18:2012.

●Software management possess high humanization and intellectualization. Users only need to click one button to complete all measurements after parameters setting.
